9th Lake of Charity

Where? Gerstreit Teich, Westgipfel Hinterglemm
About: Sport event for a good cause (proceeds will be donated to families and children in need in Pinzgau). With water fun, fun sports and acoustic live acts. In addition, the Lake of Charity is a "Green Event", which means that sustainability is a major concern” oder “that sustainability will be taken into account!

38th Hinterglemmer Bauernmarkt (farmer's market)
When? 9th – 11th August 2019
Opening hours: Friday and Saturday from 12am through 9pm
Sunday from 10:30am through 5am
Where? Saalbach, Dorfstraße
About: Taste local specialities, discover traditional craftsmanship, walk through the large tractor exhibition or take part at trachten golf (golf in traditional local attire)! There is a lot to explore. Furthermore, a must-see is the traditional parade on Saturday at 4pm with numerous coach rides and local clubs.

Saalbach Trail & Skyrace
When? 24th August 2019, From 9am
Where? The centre of Saalbach
About: Not only long but also high! A lot of metres in altitude are to be achieved at different distances. Visitors can enjoy the finish in the village or celebrate the runners of the short distances at the Schattberg mountain station.

21st World Games of Mountainbiking
When? 5th – 8th 2019
Where? Saalbach & its surrounding area
About: At the World Games there is a suitable marathon distance for everyone: from 21 km to 80 km everything is possible! Kids up to the age of 13 can also compete in six age groups at the Junior Trophy. Rookies up to the age of 15 can compete in the marathon distance 21. In addition, there will be cycling for a good cause. Those who sponsor one of the competitors donate one euro per driven kilometre to the DEBRA Austria association for the benefit of children with epidermolysis bullosa.
