Ski rental & snowboard rental with benefits for Adler guests

Rabbit Sports by Hasenauer is the "coolest contact point for biking and winter sports in the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm" since 2011. Also, the ADLER RESORT can now benefit from the hip sports shop, because our in-house VIP ski rental is cared for by Rabbit Sports by Hasenauer.

What characterises Rabbit Sports by Hasenauer and how do our guests benefit from it? We asked the founder Hans Hasenauer, former ski racer and trainer!

Luisa: Hello Hans, how did you get your passion for skiing?

Hans Hasenauer: Since we grew up in a ski lodge and only came to school on skis, we had to start early. And the fun turned into a passion. I went to the ski club and on to the ski hotel school in Gastein. I achieved my greatest success when I became Austrian pupil master in slalom. Unfortunately, after some serious injuries, I had to stop earlier than planned.

Luisa: And then the sports shop started. What motivated you to found a sports shop in Hinterglemm at the end of your career?

Hans Hasenauer: It has always been a big dream of mine to have my own sports shop to pass on my knowledge and the fun of skiing to people. And so in 2011 Rabbit Sports by Hasenauer was born.

Luisa: What's so special about Rabbit Sports?

Hans Hasenauer: We take a lot of time for every single guest and their wishes. Every employee grew up with skiing and therefore has very good knowledge, which we gladly pass on to our customers. Overall, we have a very relaxed, personal and family atmosphere in the business.

Luisa: And how many people are working with you?

Hans Hasenauer: In the meantime, I have alltogether seven employees in three locations, with me we are eight.

Luisa: You now take over our in-house VIP ski rental in the ADLER RESORT. Why should guests of the ADLER RESORT lend skis or snowboards from you?

Hans Hasenauer: There are some advantages renting skis or snowboards with us.

• On the day of arrival, the ski is already waiting in the hotel. Effortless haulage the equipment is thus eliminated and your guests gain valuable holiday time.
• We also offer a large selection of the latest ski models and the popular over-night service. Simply hand in skis or snowboards on your return home and pick them up again the next day.
• And last but not least, guests of the ADLER RESORT are allowed to travel for seven days and only have to pay for six days.

Luisa: What are the general prices for guests of the ADLER RESORT?

Hans Hasenauer: Overall, there is always 10% ADLER discount on the total for your guests. Children up to 14,99 years receive 50% discount and children up to 10 years, whose parents also borrow the equipment including helmet for free.

Luisa: One last question: what does your customer like the most about Rabbit Sports?

Hans Hasenauer: I think our customers especially appreciate the very personal advice throughout the year. Me and my team are very happy to look after the guests in the ski rental of the ADLER RESORT and to give them a great skiing holiday in Saalbach Hinterglemm.
